Background Task is a development stage independent software vendor (ISV).

We develop and then sell our own software products, built on Microsoft development platforms, notably the Microsoft .NET 2.0 platform and Visual Studio 2005.

PRODUCT ANNOUNCEMENT

Our first product, Heraclitus V1, will be available for download in May 2007.

Heraclitus V1 is a Windows command-line application that connects to your Visual SourceSafe projects and reports how much has changed. Change information can be reported in HTML or plain text. Root projects can be specified along with files, file extensions, and projects to exclude from the calculated results.
